Have you got a Thomas the Tank Engine fan in your tribe? Be sure to mark September 9 and 10 in your diary because the kids can get up close to Thomas and his friends at Day out with Thomas.
Thomas will be visiting the NSW Rail Museum with a few of his friends including The Fat Controller for the Day out with Thomas event. An all inclusive ticket will get you a steam train ride from Sodor Island Railway Station up to the Roundhouse pulled by Donald the black engine as well as a ride aboard Toby the Railmotor. You can also visit Henry who will be on the Museum platform waiting to greet tribes.
There will also be unlimited mini train rides, a Thomas movie station, the Imagination Station, face painting, story telling and entry to the NSW Rail Museum. For extra fun there will be three jumping castles, all catered to different ages for the kids. In the Imagination Station, kids can enter colouring in competitions, play Thomas games and listen to stories about their favourite train.
There are barbecue facilities at the venue, so pack a picnic or plan for a barbecue lunch and make a day of your visit to the Rail Museum. This event is guaranteed to be lots of fun for the whole tribe, especially when you explore the historic train artefacts in the Rail Museum. Even the grandparents of the tribe would love this special event.
Be sure to bring the camera as there are photo opportunities to be had with Thomas and The Fat Controller. The kids can climb aboard Thomas and give his whistle a toot! One thing is for sure, this is one fabulous day that the whole tribe will remember for years to come.
Have you been on any train adventures that the tribe have loved? Be sure to tell us about it.
