If you are keen to take the tribe star gazing, a trip to the Planetarium in Inveresk is a must. Situated in Launceston, Tasmania in the Queen Victoria Museum & Art Gallery, the Planetarium operates a star projector in conjunction with a full-dome digital system giving visitors the opportunity to gaze up and watch exciting feature presentations including Asteroids, Capturing the Cosmos, We Are Aliens, Dawn of the Space Age and Black Holes.
It’s a great learning experience for the tribe and it is an activity that is best suited to tribe members aged five and up.
Each show also includes a live description of the night sky over Tasmania, which is a real treat.
