If you are looking for an indoor play centre that is brand new and bucket-loads of fun, Planet Mino in Chatswood is wowing families.
Planet Mino equals Planet FUN, according to my four-year-old. It’s one of the latest on-trend play centres to open in Sydney. And by on-trend I mean cool calming colours, clean shiny and cute! And great food and coffee! Tick, tick, tick!
The first thing you’ll notice at Planet Mino is the super cute cartoon characters adorning the walls and exterior windows, so your kids can’t miss it when you’re driving in! Inside is full of fun for babies up until school-age children.
The great thing about Planet Mino is that it combines high energy soft play activities, with a dedicated imagination play area. So after you tire them out upstairs, you can head downstairs for a little mental stimulation.
The two-level indoor play centre is massive! It includes a ball pit, an interactive digital wall/screen, and slide, a soft play climbing gym with the whole shebang of hidey holes, slides, stairs, bridges, tunnels, and trampolines. Plus there’s a volcano climbing wall and loads of netted areas that create multiple levels of climbing and jumping. Downstairs you’ll find a 0-2 baby area for your tiny one to roll, goo, gaa and get gassy in! Downstairs is also where you’ll find a fantastic set up for role-play. I’m a mother of a daughter who constantly wants to play shop, mums and dads and hairdressers! So this was her utopia!
There is the cutest grocery store set up, more Harris Farm than Woolworths, think brioche bread and Shitake mushrooms! Little trolleys to push up to the checkout. A kitchen for feast creating. Ride on cars to whizz around on. A play make-up area with fake lippie, blush, nail polish and more, and a gorgeous little clear dome to just chill in!
Keep walking and you’ll find a lego room for building buffs, a space-themed play area, and jumping castles to go wild on.
The black and white chic bathrooms are 5-star hotel worthy, and my favourite touch is that slippers are provided for shoeless parents.
Mediocre coffee will just not be tolerated in play centres these days so trust assured Planet Mino has got your caffeine needs covered. There’s a varied menu that has kid’s standard loves like chips and nuggets but the are also specials like soba noodle salad.
And just when you’re about to yell out ‘I’m setting the timer for 5 minutes’ the staff jump in with just the right tactics to lure your kids out happily and on time…….STICKERS!!
Grippy socks must be worn and can be purchased on site. Outside food must no be consumed in the centre.
