This Saturday is the Central Coast Sunflower Harvest at Yarramalong Turf Supplies in Wyong Creek. Find out what this little slice of Heaven is all about.
Visitors on the Central Coast can head to the Yarramalong Turf Supplies farm where the sunflowers are towering up to 9ft tall all week this week, but with a paid booking. You can be the first to take your photos among the stunning sunflowers, or you can wait until this Saturday when entry to the sunflower field is free.
As well as taking some completely gorgeous photos with the flowers, flowers will be sold for $1 a piece on the weekend, but it’ll be first in best dressed. This is a cash only event so be sure to hit up the ATM before you come down. You also need to bring your own trimmers to cut your flowers.
There is free parking on site, both in the upper car park and down near the sunflowers for those with little ones or those who can’t walk too far.
There is plenty of room for a picnic in front of the sunflowers and dogs are welcome at this family friendly event. There are bees buzzing around in the sunflowers so if you suffer from allergies please be aware and use caution.
