If you are looking for a fun night out for you and the tribe, take route 66 (also known as the M5) and make a pit stop at Miss America’s Pop-Up Diner in Riverwood, Sydney.
WORDS: ELENI CALAVRIAS
You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into the ’50s with Miss America’s Pop-Up Diner. With classic American diner decor including posters, signboards and photos of the eras biggest icons. The menu includes a variety of beef burgers with some pretty cool names like “James Dean-Be A Rebel” and “Nevada Get Me Wong”.
We couldn’t go past a round of cheesy fries, buffalo wings and Dagwood Dawgs! The kids lost their marbles over the incredible milkshakes topped with sprinkles, wafers and lollies! Finish your meal with a delicious and classic Banana Split. It’s a fun night out and the kids will love the waitresses who are dressed in classic ’50s attire.
If you are lucky, some nights the front of the restaurant is lined with vintage cars so the kids will get a kick seeing them. Keep an eye out on their Instagram page for great offers, the night we went we were lucky to score a round of free Cheesy Fries thanks to a mention of their Instagram offer.
Bookings recommended as they do get extremely busy!
